Monstera Adansonii Var Laniata
*PLEASE NOTE: You will receive the exact plant as pictured
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: As a subspecies of Monstera Adansonii, this viney beauty is unique with leaf fenestration (holes in their foliage). As this plant matures and climb upwards a surface, it grows bigger and more fenestration to maximise the light it receives. And though all Monsteras are considered vines, adansonii var. Laniata has a trailing quality that makes it a good pick for hanging baskets or training around a room.
When compared to the regular Adansonii, it is much harder to source the foliage to appears to be much more pale in colour with a glossy appearance and finer fenestrations.
THIS SPECIFIC PLANT: This tip cutting has a nice amount of roots. It currently has six leaves, with another on the way!
CARE: Keep moist during the warmer month periods and generally drier during the winter cooler months. Leaves with a lot of variegation need protection from sunlight. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. Fertiliser (plant food) can be applied as granular slow release pellets or as a liquid.
