Monstera Deliciosa Variegata 'Sport Green' (Monstera Deliciosa Variegated)
*PLEASE NOTE: You will receive the exact plant as pictured
This super rare variety of Monstera, that is barely available, produces a unique surprise of green variegation, that becomes more visible as the leaf ages and hardens off. This is a true deliciosa, (with ruffles at the stem where it meets the leaf), which means it's only a matter of time before this grows into an impressively large Monster! It has a spreading/climbing habit, is easy-to-grow and generally low maintenance plant.
THIS SPECIFIC PLANT: This HUGE tip cutting has two leaves, and nice root system that has been transitioned into our house blend potting medium - 5:1:1 mix (Pine Bark: Perlite: Peat Moss) for over two months now. (A stem cutting has just cut off, and taken just below this one). As seen on the stem and leaves, it has pronounced variegation, (that has been stable and consistent on the mother plant). Do note the minor imperfections on the leaf and stem- just superficial scrapes and scuffs. Please only purchase if you are researched and/or experienced in propagation, as this specific cutting will require the right care in order to thrive.
CARE: Keep moist during the warmer month periods and generally drier during the winter cooler months. Leaves with a lot of variegation need protection from sunlight. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. Fertiliser (plant food) can be applied as granular slow release pellets or as a liquid.
