Monstera Standleyana Albo Variegata (Variegated)
*PLEASE NOTE: You will receive the exact plant as pictured
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Monstera standleyana is a rare exotic Aroid climber. The plant does pretty well in both indoor and outdoor environments. The dark green elongated leaves have stripped and speckled white variegation. This is a good choice for pots and hanging baskets. This plant is a fast grower and will happily climb upwards, and grow as a vine on a totem, which maximises its appearance and growth habit or a beautiful as a hanging plant.
THIS SPECIFIC PLANT: This is a semi-rooted, young plant grown from a leaf-less stem cutting. It displays a good level of variegation throughout the plant, and has great potential to continue to produce beautiful leaves. Do note the minor imperfections on the leaves. (Last photo shows the mother plant, which is actually four plants combined.)
CARE: Keep moist during the warmer month periods and generally drier during the winter cooler months. Leaves with a lot of variegation need protection from sunlight. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. Fertiliser (plant food) can be applied as granular slow release pellets or as a liquid.
