The beautifully textured dark green leaves with creamy white veins are the highlight of this Philodendron. Also known as the Philodendron McDowellii (or McDowell), it’s thought to be a hybrid between the Philodendron Gloriosum and another unknown variety.  Whereas the Gloriosum has a velvety surface, the McDowell is smooth and shiny. It has a vigorous growth habit and will grow very big.

THIS SPECIFIC PLANT: An adorable, petite form Philodendron Dean Mcdowell, that can sit nicely on your desk or shelf, as opposed to the standard, giant parents. Grown from a large stem cutting, it should progressively produce larger cushiony leaves. Currently has one leaf, and another on the way. Well established, with a good amount of roots.

CARE: Make sure that the plant is in an environment with high-air-humidity (ideally over 65%, 70% and higher). Place in bright filtered light, no direct sunlight. Make sure the plant is in a well-ventilated space, even if it is a terrarium or a greenhouse. Keep medium moist.

SHIPPING: Shipped via EXPRESS POST with it's pot.
