Philodendron Glorious Variegated (Gloriosum X Melanochrysum)
*PLEASE NOTE: You will receive the exact plant as pictured
Just as the regular Philodendron "Glorious", it is a semi-climbing aroid with Philodendron Gloriosum and Philodendron melanochrysum parentage. A shaded environment, something to climb and regular misting will help keep this hybrid happy. New leaves emerge with the "mosaic variegated" colouration, that fades slightly as it hardens off. (It is not related nor caused by the mosaic virus).
THIS SPECIFIC PLANT: This is a semi-rooted tip cutting. Please take note of the imperfections on the leaves. Please only purchase if you are researched and/or experienced in propagation, as this specific cutting will require the right care in order to thrive. Mother plant is also pictured.
CARE: It will require further propagation in order to produce a sturdy root system, so a grow light, and humidifier is recommended. It requires indirect light/shaded and well draining soil. Water when the top soil feels dry and mist regularly. *Please Note: Philodendron "Glorious" may go dormant over Winter and die back, depending on where you are located. During this time do not over-water.
SHIPPING: Shipped via EXPRESS POST with it's pot with spag. moss. We will also provide tracking, signature on delivery, and insurance for the FULL VALUE of the plant with Australia Post.
